Job Description

Targeted Annual Pay Range: Minimum of $80,000.00 to a maximum of $110,000.00

POSITION PURPOSE: The Product Manager will contribute to the strategic direction and support the execution of all Hubgrade digital tools within the Sustainable Industries and Buildings (SIB) division, working closely with the Product Owners to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The Product Manager will report to the VP of Digital Energy Services and will have a significant impact on the digital transformation initiatives within SIB.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for Hubgrade digital tools, aligning with SIB's business goals and market demands.

  • Manage cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and ensure successful product launches.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners, to gather insights and drive product vision.

  • Facilitate high-level discussions to prioritize product features and enhancements based on strategic value and customer impact.

  • Product Development Oversight:

  • Oversee the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality digital solutions.

  • Collaborate with the Platform Development Team to establish clear timelines and deliverables, and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.

  • Market Analysis and Roadmap Planning:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product roadmap and strategic decisions.

  • Define and communicate a clear product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.

  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement robust processes for identifying and resolving software bugs and functionality issues.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to improve product features and user experience continuously.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Digital Energy Services.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business management, marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading successful digital product initiatives.

  • Strong background in digital transformation and strategic product planning.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that deliver business value and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Understanding of energy or utility industry trends and competitive landscape.
