How will you make an impact?
Ensure maximum efficiency through the delivery and evaluation of instructor-led courses for new and established training curriculum, which includes new hire onboarding, continuing education and management training. This role will also require field travel with Account Managers, Managers and other sales roles to train and coach sales representatives on the practical application of sales tools, our sales processes and effective team selling.
What will you do?
Assist in the development and delivery of various instructor-led and online sales training courses
Deliver training at national and regional sales meetings
Mentor, coach and support new Inside Sales and Field Account Managers, District Sales Managers (DSMs), Instrument System Specialists (ISS), and Health System Executives (HSEs) through a multiphase, rapid onboarding training process
Collaborate with functional area managers, DSMs and Subject Matter Authorities to improve course content
Make recommendations and modify training programs, as appropriate, based upon the results of training efficiency metrics and quality review results
Establish and maintain supplier relationships associated with the delivery of product training
Assist with the build out of the team’s Learning & Development (L&D) infrastructure (i.e., internal processes, guidelines, communications, etc.)
Use the corporate Learning Management System (LMS) to record registration and completion of learning activities, extract data and build standard reports
How will you get here?
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Healthcare, Business, Management, Education or Communications
2+ years sales experience in diagnostic, healthcare and/or medical device sales
1- 2 years sales training experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge and application of adult learning theory and principles, blended learning approaches and evaluation methods
Ability to deliver engaging presentations and facilitation of role plays, system and sales tool scenarios
Knowledge and experience using Customer Relationship Manager software (CRM)
MS Office (i.e., PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Word), Internet (i.e., IE, Chrome) and online web conferencing (i.e., WebEx) applications
Contagious enthusiasm and a passion for training and development
Strong coaching, mentoring and motivational skills that are scalable to a District Manager/Leadership position
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and visual facilitation skills
