Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities
The position is for a Product Security Lead to be part of the CAGBU Product Security team with responsibility for governance of Oracle's Software Security Assurance (OSSA) program. The position supports engineering teams, product management, and support with security assessments and guidance related to secure development and vulnerability management. Specific qualifications required:

experience as a SPOC in CAGBU
Good to have:
Experience with vulnerability management and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) and related assessment and severity definition methodologies
Experience with static and dynamic security testing techniques and tools
Experience with building Architectural Risk Analysis, including threat modeling
Experience with security hardening techniques and guidelines such as CIS Benchmarks
Experience with Linux, including basic administration knowledge
Experience with GIT, Jenkins pipelines
A good understanding of Security concepts, such as Input Sanitization techniques, Injection, XSS, CSRF
Ability to read and understand multiple programming languages at a basic level, such as Java, C/C++, Python, Perl, shell scripts, etc.
Familiarity with Information Security and related international standards such as ISO-27001
Familiarity with common attack vectors such as those defined by OWASP, SANS, etc.
Familiarity with cybersecurity control frameworks such as NIST-800, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, etc.
Familiarity with traditional and cloud-based deployment models
Familiarity with traditional and agile development methodologies
Certifications of interest:
- Security++ , CEH, CISSP, CISM and similar security and privacy certifications
