As an essential extension to the convenient services offered by Tillinger’s, City Schleppers provides clients with the highest quality errand services, custom tailored to their individual needs. This hospitality service extends the Signature Service client experience through high-impact touch points and attentive service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute personal errands for clients, based on their unique needs – ranging from merchandise returns and document deliveries to automobile inspections and monitoring residential utility connection appointments.
Perform routine errands for the Corporate Office, as needed by Management.
Provide immediate support to VIP Services with fulfilment of specialized service requests, assisting in the coordination of project deliverables.
Facilitate the delivery of collateral, inventory, and other important deliveries to/from remote Concierge Desks.
Ability to serve as a Concierge, Door Person, or Lobby Attendant, as needed (training provided).
Assist with Concierge Desk service evaluations, collecting data through observation and reporting findings to Management for service standardization and efficiencies.
As a brand ambassador, actively endorse City Schlepper services to existing and potential clients through engagement, discussion, and vibrant visibility of the service logos and slogans on apparel.
Foster a positive team environment.
Identify opportunities to improve service and operations, as well as staff and client relations.
Participate in the development of new initiatives.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and receipts.
Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of the Greater Boston area, including efficient transportation solutions.
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and clean driving record.
MUST be 21+ years of age
Graduate or student of an accredited college or university preferred.
1-2 years experience in the hospitality and customer service industries, preferred.
Ability, willingness and excitement to be around animals. (ie. dog walking)
Positive, outgoing, and attentive demeanor.
Strong oral, written, listening, and organizational skills.
Ability to demonstrate a history of proven reliability and consistency.
Proven capacity for conflict resolution and strong problem solving among staff, clients, and residents/tenants.
Proficient word processing and strong computer knowledge including programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This position is part-time, 24+ hours per week. Your availability must be between normal business hours with flexibility to provide support outside of regular business hours, as requested. Preference will be given to candidates with flexibility to accommodate business needs and those who desire a full-time schedule when available.
