Program Coordinator (Workshops)

Job Overview:

The Program Coordinator will provide support to the WOS Workforce Essentials Workshop (WEW) program. Additional duties may also be assigned. This individual must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Technological and computer skills and interpersonal skills are vital to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Handles all aspects of the individual user experience (including registration and communications with individuals who have registered for WEW). Communications will include phone calls, texts and emails.

  • Engages with registrants to maintain communication

  • Maintains spreadsheets of registrant data and enters necessary information and notes into spreadsheets

  • Conducts Zoom sessions for each monthly workshop. Workshops run from 10 am - 12 pm OR 6 pm - 8 pm once each month.

  • Creates/manages breakout rooms in Zoom meetings for WEW

  • Grading of some submitted assignments from WEW

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree a plus)

  • One, or more, years of experience as a Program Coordinator

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to move from one task to another effectively

  • Works well in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to manage and prioritize time and duties efficiently

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality

  • Able to work with limited supervision

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience with Zoom

Location:

  • Remote

Duration:

  • Part-Time (20 Hours/Week)

  • Some night/weekend work may be required

Salary:

  • $20.00/Hour
