RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide independent program management for Integra’s six quality operational laboratories globally including the development and implementation of global procedures and systems, remediation initiatives, continuous improvement, and sustaining compliance

  • Facilitate technical talent training, mentoring, and development support for laboratory scientists and cross-functional teams

  • Provide leadership and direction to the laboratory team to ensure business, quality, and compliance objectives are achieved

  • Leads or leverages cross-functional teams in the development, implementation, and maintenance of key performance indicators to monitor quality compliance risk and operational excellence within Integra’s Quality Laboratories

  • Establish project objectives and work plans including budgets and resource requirements. Delegate assignments to functional area team members and track key project activities to successful completion

  • Drive effective cross-functional team collaboration to support and optimize ongoing Laboratory initiatives

  • Proactively identify and resolve product and project risk. Make tradeoffs between time, schedule, and cost.

  • Serve as a representative for the Global Quality Laboratories and collaborate across functions such as quality, operations, R&D, Global Supply, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to ensure company goals are met

  • Accountable for project management phases, including scheduling, budgeting, design controls, and release processes

  • Maintain a sense of urgency and hold team members accountable to program commitments

  • Report results to leadership for Global Laboratory programs, projects, and key performance indicators

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of Program/Project Management, Engineering/Science, and/or Microbiological/Analytical laboratory experience OR advanced degree and 8+ years of experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant specialty related to the field (Engineering, Physical or Life Sciences desired)

  • Experience providing project management support for large, cross-functional, multi-site projects

  • Experience managing process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma)

  • Experience with ISO and FDA Quality system regulations in the medical device industry, preferred experience in an ISO 17025 laboratory environment

  • MS Project, Smartsheets, Power BI, Agile PLM

  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Demonstrated leadership & interpersonal skills, adept at navigating organizational challenges & ability to work through others to accomplish objectives.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
