Job Description

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to partner across functions. 10 plus years relevant work experience.

The Role:

The Oracle Food & Beverage Global Business Unit (FBGBU) is looking for a senior program manager to drive collaboration between sales, sales operations, consulting, solution engineering, and other teams involved in supporting the entire sales and implementation lifecycle of prospective and existing strategic accounts. This includes but is not limited to supporting deal commercials, contract negotiations, internal approvals, installation, and post-go-live support.

You will build relationships and collaborate amongst stakeholders from all levels of the organization, build and maintain detailed, cross-functional project plans, and escalate and eliminate obstacles that may impact deal closure or customer success.

In addition, you will develop and manage strategic, sales-focused initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and improving sales process efficiency.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including +5 years of cross-functional project manager experience in a sales-focused environment.

  • Solid understanding of the sales and installation lifecycle for technology solutions at large, enterprise customers.

  • Solid organizational, planning and tracking skills.

  • Exemplary executive communication skills – both internal and external

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers and work with a highly collaborative style.

  • Ability to produce high-quality internal and external deliverables for executive audiences.

  • Ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand and manage project expectations.

  • Creativity and independent judgment in identifying and resolving major issues and risks impacting project success.

  • Understanding of what makes a project team perform well and how to motivate them as well as the ability to provide mentorship and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and function in a fast-paced, complex environment.

  • Strong data and financial analysis skills.

  • Ability to develop actionable, data-driven recommendations and translate them into clear work plans for implementation.

  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

Emphasis will be given to the candidate who demonstrates productive experience in the following areas:

  • Strategic initiative management and/or management consulting.

  • Demonstrated success with cross-functional business projects.

  • Knowledge of Oracle financial reporting and sales practices and systems.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects/programs concurrently.

  • Demonstrated success prioritizing workload for yourself and holding others accountable for their commitments even when they do not directly report to you.

  • Demonstrated stakeholder management at senior levels of the organization.

Ability to travel as needed is required but expected to be less than 10% of time.

This position will be based in North America but the successful candidate is expected to occasionally work outside of normal business hours due to the global focus of work and the need to accommodate colleagues in other time zones. This position is suitable for a remote worker.
