The R ole: Project Manager, Commercial Technology and Automation

The Impact: You will be responsible for project management of strategic initiatives and programs related to commercial technology and automation of the commercial processes that drive S&P Global Market Intelligence’s commercial success.. You will be involved in all aspects of strategic initiative project management including participating in defining requirements, initiative planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, assigning work, driving to completion, communicating progress and measuring impact. You will own many aspects of the projects directly and be responsible for their timely and successful completion.

The ability to collect and organize information into an actionable project plans. A proactive communicator who is comfortable influencing teams to drive progress. Awareness of the impact of change on both the business and individual employees. The ability to liaise between business and technical groups.

Assemble and lead teams of subject matter experts todefinerequirements and build results.
Own discovery, design, implementation and go to market for the projects inyour portfolio including coordination with stakeholders and technical counterparts.
Representcommercialand coordinate with partners from other functional teams (Marketing, Legal, Product, HR, Finance, etc.) to drive multi-functional planning and execution
Anticipate, mitigate and removeobstacles toproject progress andmaintain high levels of qualityand performance
Providestatus reports of overallprojecthealth
Managedaily activities, planning and scheduling meetings
Manage and controlchanges to the project scope, project timeline and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measureproject performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Build, maintain and manageproject documentation
Communicate regularly about progress and risks
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $74,400 to $154,400. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

5 years’ experience in a related project management,technology,commercial field, or similar role
Experience organizing and influencing multiple stakeholders as part of multi-functional projects
Experience project managing software development projects under an Agile framework preferred
Demonstrated success translating business objectives into detailed, actionabletechnology requirements.
Presentation skills (public speaking, active listening, ability to build consensus, and support across functions andsenioritylevels)
