IBM QRADAR Channel Leader + People Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

IBM Security Solutions is looking for a QRADAR Channel Leader who will be responsible for executing the channel sales program to drive incremental revenue for QRADAR/QROC in North America through strong leadership of the MSSP, Emerging Partner and dedicated QRADAR BPR team. You will work in alignment with the North America Channel Sales leader who oversees all Security solutions.

The successful Security QRADAR Channel Sales Manager is an experienced, proactive leader who can understand and anticipate the needs of the Security Solutions business in regards to QRADAR/QROC. The QRADAR Security Channel Sales Manager needs to be a strategic thinker that can make informed decisions and execute to achieve business goals for QRADAR in alignment with the overall IBM Security strategy. You are a strong, collaborative leader responsible for leading a team of Business Partner Representatives to effectively execute QRADAR/QROC channel sales with IBM's top QRDAR/QROC and MSSP partners. Working in alignment with the North America Channel Sales leader who oversees all Security Solutions and the generalized BPRS, you will drive the specific, dedicated execution of the QRADAR/QROC channel plan across all Markets and Geographies in North America.


  • Lead the execution of the IBM North America Security Sales Strategy and Marketing initiatives for QRADAR/QROC.

  • Build comprehensive Sales plan to generate incremental QRADAR/QROC revenue in 2018/2019.

  • Lead team of MSSP and Emerging Business Partner Representatives on Opportunity Identification and Progression for QRADAR ESAs.

  • Manage QRADAR/QROC pipeline calls with MSSP team, Emerging partner team, and with Dedicated QRADAR BPR.

  • Build and communicate IBM Security Value Propositions for QRADAR/QROC.

  • Build Channel partner ecosystem and drive awareness for QRADAR/QROC.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience leading MSSP strategy and contract negotiation

  • Extensive knowledge of the North America MSSP Market and knowledge IBM Security porfolio/QRADAR

  • Understanding of Business Partners and how to lead team to maximize partner results.

  • Proven ability to support and execute upon Director's strategy for Business Unit

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 5 years experience Channel sales, with Direct knowledge helpful.

  • Show proven track record of building, owning and driving GTM sales success in North America as a player/coach.

  • Passionate about Security technologies and trends.
