State Street Quantitative Product Strategy Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

Global Credit Finance’s aim is twofold: to attract and retain clients of State Street through the use of the firm’s sheet; and to add income and diversification to the company’s portfolio of on and off-balance sheet balance investments. Our products include Fund Finance, Municipal Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Leveraged Loans, and Stable Value Wrap.


The recently-created Global Markets Global Credit Finance team oversees a portfolio of 5 different credit products with an $85BN credit capacity. Its 110+ member team operates in the US and EMEA with offices in Boston, London, and Irvine, California.

This position will help facilitate continued business and revenue growth within Global Credit Finance by converting data analytics into strategy and optimizing results under various considerations such as liquidity regulations, capital consumption and other firm-wide resource constraints. The candidate will liaise and build relationships with Global Treasury, Corporate Finance and Enterprise Risk Management to implement State Street’s Return on Capital (ROC) framework into Global Credit Finance’s forecasts and day-to-day operating decisions. The candidate will provide regular communication to Senior Management summarizing progress on revenue, capital and liquidity improvement strategies.


  • Provide customer focused leadership by working closely with the business to develop product strategy and balance sheet optimization
  • Develop actionable analytics and incorporate data-driven insights to guide strategy and improvements in business results
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting to inform strategic and transformative decisions
  • Advance a holistic view of funding across Global Credit Finance quantifying revenue, capital and liquidity footprint and analytics supporting optimal allocation of limited resources
  • Ensure proper data governance, controls, procedures, documentation and model governance where appropriate
  • Collaborate with business colleagues in Global Markets, Global Treasury, Enterprise Risk Management and Finance to ensure consistency and accuracy of quantitative analytics and exposure measurements/calculations
