Salesforce is seeking an experienced and passionate Project Manager to join the Global Revenue Operations, Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) Strategy & Operations Team! This role will be critical in helping to identity SOX risks and project lead the Q2C compliance workstream on large, cross-functional, global, enterprise-wide projects (including M&A integration projects). This role is responsible for ensuring existing Q2C SOX control impacts, net new Q2C SOX controls, and business risks are identified, managed, and supported with detailed compliance process flows and process documentation to support internal and external audits resulting from enterprise projects. With a SOX/Compliance lens, this person will be responsible for providing end to end support on enterprise projects related to internal Q2C processes and execute against internal Q2C project methodology.


  • During the course of a project, act as the primary Q2C Team interface for Q2C SOX/Compliance.

  • Facilitate the management of Q2C Compliance/SOX related program impacts, working with the appropriate partners to establish project achievements around identifying existing control impacts, and leading new control readiness.

  • Collaborate with leadership teams, with other project managers, with Business Technology, and with business partners, such as other SOX departments, to streamline and improve cross-dependent processes.

  • Drive internal team adoption of Q2C project delivery methodology, governance, templates, and engagement models within the Q2C Strategy and Operations Team.

  • Build and manage Q2C compliance project plans for enterprise projects; monitor and review project progress and timelines, adjust schedules and plans as needed, and identify and resolve risks/issues to ensure project success.

  • Ensure on-time delivery against Q2C project plans for enterprise projects, and ensure project gates and governance are properly adhered to during the execution of the project.

  • Run day-to-day completion of projects and assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates for the project; deliver status updates to relevant executives and partners of the Q2C compliance workstream.

  • Proactively drive alignment across a diverse set of stakeholder groups, ranging from business and technical PMOs to subject matter authorities in various departments.

  • Facilitate discussions, identify, and action on partner alignment needs to articulate and drive business decisions.

  • Handle and supervise partner alignment to improve communications and visibility to projects and programs that may impact them.

Required Skills/Experience :

  • 5+ years of accounting, finance, operational or project management, internal or external auditing experience which includes experience performing SOX-related compliance procedures.

  • Strong understanding in key accounting and finance operational processes (e.g., Quote to Cash, Revenue Operations).

  • Strong understanding of strategic planning and considerations for large, cross-functional, global enterprise-wide projects (including M&A integration projects).

  • SOX project management and/or process improvement experience on large, cross-functional, global enterprise-wide projects.

  • Working understanding of SOX control frameworks.

  • Outstanding collaboration skills with team members, ability to partner with remote and cross-functional teams.

  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to facilitate meetings at all levels and articulate clear purpose, desired outcomes, and track action items and next steps.

  • Ability to think quickly to excel in a fluid, fast paced and constantly evolving environment and handling to timelines where adaptability is imperative.

  • Ability to build positive relationships, credibility and influence to partner effectively with stakeholders and improve decision-making and outcomes.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to changing business and technical environments.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to an utmost level of detail in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Knowledge of multiple technology domains including software development and IT operations.

  • Understanding of SaaS applications supporting financial business processes.

  • Proficient in process flow mapping and SOX control documentation.

  • Working understanding of Lucidchart or other process documentation software.

  • Working understanding of Smartsheet or other project management software.

Desired Skills/Experience :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce products preferred.

  • Familiarity with CPQ and Order Management Systems preferred.

  • Ability to find opportunities to use all Salesforce technologies preferred.

  • PMP certification highly desirable.
