Job Title: Receptionist
Duration: 3+ months

Pay rate: $27/hr
We are looking for a Receptionist to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
Position Summary:
The Receptionist/Administrative Support role serves as the first point of contact for faculty, students, staff, and the general public. This position ensures smooth communication and operations by directing visitors and calls, managing appointment calendars, and handling routine administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception and Customer Service:
Greet and assist faculty, students, staff, and the public.
Identify visitor needs and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
Call Management:
Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the correct individual or department.
Provide accurate information or take messages as necessary.
Administrative Support:
Maintain one or more appointment calendars, scheduling and confirming appointments as needed.
Perform routine typing and document preparation tasks.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
General Office Duties:
Keep the reception area clean and organized.
Maintain accurate records of visitor logs or appointment schedules.
Assist with other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (e.g., phone systems, copiers).
Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
