Research Administrator Supervisor

Job Description

  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and daily management of research administration activities. Supervise and train research administration staff.

  • Grant and Proposal Management: Coordinate the submission of grant applications and proposals. Oversee pre-award and post-award processes, including budget development, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage research budgets. Conduct complex financial reporting and analysis to track spending patterns and identify trends.

  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. Serve as a liaison between researchers and funding agencies.

  • Project Coordination: Monitor the progress of ongoing research projects to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Facilitate communication among research teams, departments, and external partners.

  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline research administration activities. Provide training and support to research staff on administrative processes and compliance issues

Hard Skills

  • 6+ years grant administration experience

  • Pre- and post- award experience

  • Supporting translational research experience

  • Mentor or management experience

Job Type

This is a permanent position.
