The XM Institute produces and curates easy-to-consume, compelling thought leadership content and training that both inspires business leaders with experience management possibilities and helps them drive value from their programs. We are comprised of a small, tight-knit team that was formerly Temkin Group and was acquired by Qualtrics in the fall of 2018. We focus primarily on the needs of XM Program Owners who are responsible for driving business outcomes. These key decision-makers need help with understanding the business case for XM, developing a roadmap for XM success, and enabling their organizations to succeed by adopting proven XM practices and perspectives.
Expectations for Success
Publish data reports: collect and analyze data using the Qualtrics platform, generate data visualizations, and write compelling reports on the findings
Support research by XM Catalysts: conduct background research on key topics, help arrange interviews with internal and external experts in the field of experience management, and assist with a variety of different activities, including data analysis, editing, and graphics generation
Coordinate cross-functional projects: work with teams throughout Qualtrics to effectively market XM Institute content, and coordinate projects involving the XM Institute’s digital content, such as the website, blog, and Twitter
Support XM Institute team: track thought leadership being published in the industry, complete topical research projects, and broadly support the entire XM Institute team on a range of projects
Qualifications & Requirements
XM Institute is looking for a highly motivated self-starter. The right candidate has:
B.A./B.S. with a strong academic record; no specific undergraduate major is required.
History of work and extra-curricular activities that demonstrate leadership.
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, Powerpoint, and the Qualtrics platform.
Superior writing, editing, and communications skills.
A Day in the Life
No day is quite the same in the life of a Research Associate in the XM institute. In a given day, you could be analyzing data, preparing the graphics for an upcoming report, and gathering relevant thought leadership from industry experts, all while intermittently tweeting about upcoming content. As a member of the XM Institute team, you will be contributing to everything the XM Institute does, which includes creating compelling thought leadership, designing XM training, and building programs that create community amongst XM leaders.
