Aerotek Revenue Cycle Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

Description:

The Revenue Control Lead is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of reimbursements. Including: insurance payments (electronic and paper) and patient payments (cash, checks, credit cards). The Lead ensures all payments received are posted to the appropriate patient account in a timely manner and reconciled to corresponding bank deposits. This position requires building and maintaining communication and collaborative relationships with internal and external parties within the Patient Accounts and Finance teams.

  • Reconciliation between bank deposits and Epic postings.

  • Track variances and communicate to key stakeholders consistent with department policies.

  • Assists in development, communication and implementation of department policies and procedures.

  • Leverage technologies to improve processes.

  • Ensure timely and appropriate distribution of daily mail

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required

  • 2-3 years cash management experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Experience utilizing Epic or other healthcare billing systems preferred
