Job Description
We’re seeking a passionate, flexible, and reliable individual with experience in Sales and Business Development, ideally within the Events or Hospitality Industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing network and actively develop new contacts to secure new business. Our ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, driven, and a dedicated team player. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter who is ready to perform on day one.
Successful candidates will have the following:
8 years or more experience in either a sales or business development capacity
Proven track record for converting existing relationships into clients, account growth
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to effectively communicate with various levels of managers and clients
Self-motivated with strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve priorities
Experience in sourcing, negotiating and contracting business for programs up to 2500 attendees is preferred, but not required
Demonstrated ability to sell using a variety of approaches and delivery platforms
Event and experiential marketing, storytelling, and capable of unconventional thinking and developing creative solutions is preferred
Familiarity with event management or hospitality is preferred, but not required
Ability to travel as needed 30-35%

Displays enthusiasm and positive attitude in all tasks and interactions, motivating others with their passion
Demonstrates strong commitment to their role and the organization, consistently exceeding expectations to achieve success
Capable of articulating a clear vision, strategically planning for the future, indentifying trends and guiding the team towards long-term objectives
Analytical Skills
Experience with CRM platform reporting and sales pipeline reporting
Ability to gather client information and analyze industry data to create client-specific action plans and communications
What you would be doing at Unbridled:
Generate revenue using a consultative approach to build new client relationships
Lead with a value-driving message and proposition that highlights our ability to generate award-winning work around events
Leverage sound business acquisition and retention strategies to cultivate both new and existing business relationships
Identify and develop new business through personal sales efforts targeted to prospective accounts
Manage accurate documentation of all account contact and sales activities
Work collaboratively with our account management teams to provide excellent client services across all accounts
Call on high level, key decision-makers and close opportunities
Exceptional relationship management skills
Exceed assigned sales and revenue goals
Contract negotiation and execution
Proposal Development
Create project budgets
Develop positive relationships with all departments and support client business with project research and sourcing
Job requires some evening and weekend hours preparing proposals and attending industry functions such as tradeshows, industry events, etc

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 (inclusive of base salary and commissions.)
Earning Potential: This range reflects the total compensation for the role, with the opportunity for higher earnings based on individual performance, drive and ability.
