This is a hybrid role if you are located near the Easton Ops (Columbus, OH) office. You will work 3 days a week in office.

Summary:

The SBA Franchise Specialist Sr. (SFS Sr.) is responsible for meeting each client, collecting all data required for a full financial package, assessing the credit worthiness of the transaction, issuing a proposal, completing the loan summary template including all relevant tabs such as sources and uses grid (identified loan need), cash flow analysis for projections, collateral analysis, Borrower individual credit worthiness and loan narrative explaining all facets of the transaction. The Banker will input the deal into the Velocity credit channel and work with the underwriter for final loan decision. Should the loan be approved, the SBA Franchise Specialist Sr. (SFS Sr.) will communicate approval, order and deliver the commitment letter, collect the fee and work with the assigned team to collect all closing conditions and close the loan.

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work, this includes supporting up to 75 live client files at any one time, which involves collecting all data required for a full financial package, assessing the credit worthiness of the transaction, issuing a proposal, completing the loan summary template including all relevant tabs such as sources and uses grid (identified loan need), cash flow analysis for projections, collateral analysis, Borrower individual credit worthiness and loan narrative explaining all facets of the transaction, and communication/documentation delivered if approved.

• Credits would typically include those with less complexity and customer exposure up to $5MM.

• Appropriately assess risk profile of borrower.

• Support the line of business and job family, as needed, tasks include are training, administrative tasks and supporting the brand/franchise loan process.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience working with Franchise or Business Banking sales, lending or portfolio management

• Other:

• Ability to travel to franchise shows and support Vendor Discover Days in person, as required for this position.

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to manage an extremely high-volume business loan pipeline

• Ability to develop rapport and successfully build relationships with franchise vendors and clients

• Prior SBA experience

• Bachelor's Degree

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources

• Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up

• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality

Compensation Range:

$100,000.00-$110,000.00

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
