What you’ll do:
As a Scrum Master at FACTS SIS, you are instrumental in helping guide our product development teams and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to meet or exceed the customer’s expectations. You’ll guide the team to be self-organized, assess Scrum Maturity and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. In addition to having strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with other departments is important in your role.
As an IT Scrum Master, a typical day might include:
-Coaching, motivating and guiding team members at all levels, helping to set and model desired Agile/Scrum practices and values.
-Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
-Facilitating team discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
-Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and providing information radiators.
-Creating a safe team environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
-Coaching the Team and Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is groomed to satisfy the team agreements.
-Employing servant leadership principles, a Scrum Master mentors the team and leads by example.
-Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 2 years for a software development team that is applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory (5 years preferred)
-Excellent judgment and are considered a trustworthy person
-Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others
-Must be proficient in Azure DevOps, MS CRM, Excel, Access, or other database utilities and other Microsoft technologies.
-Excellent communication and mentoring skills
-Working knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
-Knowledge and understanding of industry standard patterns and techniques for practicing the Agile Scrum process. –
-Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.

Colorado Candidates: The pay range for this role is $80,000 -$95,000
