As the Senior Associate Brand Manager, Customer Marketing, you will be at the forefront of this new vision by developing and leading breakthrough customer communications and world-class experiences. You will be responsible for determining the best way to educate and nurture customers throughout their solar journey and across multiple touch points. With over 800,000 customers in long-term contracts, Sunrun has a responsibility to deliver incredible service to our existing customer base and develop a community of raving fans.

The marketing team primarily works remotely, so this position can be located anywhere within the United States. Some travel will be required for in-person meetings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and deploy brand communications to all customers throughout their purchase and service journey, collaborating with key cross-functional partners

  • Develop strategy, positioning, creative, content, and copy for customer communications, including email, SMS, print, and digital

  • Leverage consumer insights to develop effective marketing communication strategies that will drive customer loyalty and create raving fans

  • Develop ratings & review content and execution plans to improve customer experience and conversion

  • Work closely with the Consumer Insights team to uncover customer insights to better connect with and serve our customers along their journey

  • Partner with our digital marketing team and tech product manager to implement new communications tool solutions and automation campaigns

  • Report on key data metrics and provide actionable recommendations to better reach business objectives

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)

  • Bias for action, speed, and agility

  • Entrepreneurial drive to build a strong brand beloved by raving fans

  • Passion for learning and development to evolve skills in a rapidly changing world

  • Expertise in consumer brand communications across multiple businesses

  • Demonstrated leadership in breakthrough consumer messaging

  • Superior leadership leading and influencing cross functional teams

  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and budget management

  • Excellent presentation and influence skills with senior management

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • MBA optional

  • Minimum 5+ years experience

  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to acts, such as The Equal Pay Transparency Act. It assumes that the successful candidate will be located in markets within the United States that warrant the compensation listed below. The starting salary for this opportunity ranges from $104,539 - $130,647.

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
