KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Communications to join our Business Services organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute internal and external audit communications for high-growth areas, including emerging and disruptive industries, ESG, blockchain, cyber security and cryptocurrency with the support of the full Audit Communications and Marketing team

  • Work directly with innovative leaders across industries, leaders and teams deepening our firm's expertise around ESG and Technology Assurance and client experience to drive change and sharpen engagement with these strategic areas

  • Help develop compelling messages and thought leadership to effectively engage key media outlets and position subject matter professionals in the practice to speak on financial reporting trends, regulatory changes and technology innovation as well as ESG, cyber security, blockchain and cryptocurrency, among other areas

  • Partner with marketing to drive social and digital media visibility in the marketplace, help support regular internal communications for Audit (an organization of 9,000+ employees), including our social media channels, newsletter and live video 'Town Hall' platforms

  • Drive core communications best practices, benefitting from firm-wide collaboration and dedicated coaching to execute on tasks (message development, strategic story writing, client win stories) executive communications and monitor progress to drive meaningful outcomes; apply rigorous attention to research and metrics, incorporating insights and trends into communications strategies

  • Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership and work closely with Communications Directors

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience working in Communications and preferably a related profession; agency experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public Affairs, Business or related field with prior experience supporting senior executives on media relations and executive communications

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofing skills, as well as experience in program development

  • Strong technical aptitude; proficiency with Social Media Platforms, Excel, communications measurement tools and internal/external communications channels (Newswire services, media databases)

  • Deep understanding of social and digital communication tactics with experience in grasping policy issues, especially in the context of evolving regulations (domestic and global)

  • Ability to thrive and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with a successful track record as a collaborator, multi-tasker, analytical thinker and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment
