Duties:

Lead and manage BI projects from scoping the project, defining deliverables, setting timelines, managing resources, and ensuring successful implementation. Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the team. Maintain end to end extraction, transformation and data load processes for project life cycle. Serve as data and analytics lead for various Cengage strategic initiatives. Operate as lead liaison for all project related communications. Manage and assist analyst cohort in development of interactive and cross-functional dashboards outlining KPI’s across departments, reports, and visualizations. Define the strategic direction/goals for BI initiatives and align them with overall organizational goals. Create automated data driven workflows and processes to enable cost optimization across the business. Telecommute benefit available. Requires:

Master’s degree (or higher) (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or a related field plus one (1) year of experience as a Data Analyst or a related occupation performing advanced analytics using predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms. Or, alternatively, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or a related field plus three (3) years of experience as a Data Analyst or a related occupation performing advanced analytics using predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) with relational databases and data architecture, including the conceptual design and development of data marts using Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, or MS Access databases. DE executing Business Intelligence (BI) projects and presenting to senior management. DE developing KPIs, and maintaining ETL processes in Looker, Python and Alteryx. DE conducting statistical analysis using Python, R or SAS, and using Python (Pandas, Numpy, Selenium, APIs), Alteryx to automate manual data workflows. DE working with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to deliver synthesized reports and data-driven insights using Looker, Tableau, Power BI.

Salary:

$105,000.00/year.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
