Fidelity Investments Senior Director/Vice President, Fidelity Consulting – Agile Change Management and Leadership Coaching in Boston, Massachusetts
You are responsible for building a high performing, Agile culture as an integrated aspect of our consulting work to support Fidelity’s enterprise Agile transformation. Your organizational change management, leadership development, and executive coaching expertise within an Agile context will help shape the future of the way Fidelity works. In addition, your work as a member of the Fidelity Consulting (FC) management team helps to strengthen our internal consulting practice.
Fidelity Consulting (FC) is a 90 person consulting group within Fidelity Investments. The group’s mission is to partner with senior Fidelity leadership teams as a trusted advisor to solve their most critical business issues. The primary areas of focus for the consulting practice are strategy development, agile transformation, and growth strategy. Typical engagements involve identifying and launching growth initiatives, managing or facilitating cross-enterprise initiatives, or addressing difficult operational issues. In addition to its core mission of providing consulting services, FC develops strong leadership talent to fill critical management positions across the firm.
The purpose of your role is to help lead the transformation to an Agile, servant leadership culture. You will do this by partnering with consulting colleagues and senior leadership teams across the firm, establishing yourself as a thought leader on this topic and helping to develop the FC team to support this large change effort.
*The Expertise You Have *
Education: An MBA degree or equivalent is required.
Experience: You are 4 years post-MBA with previous experience leading organizational change projects, assessing leadership competencies and top-team effectiveness, and designing leader, and leadership team, development journeys, preferably in a consulting capacity in an Agile transformation context. You have a demonstrated track record of success working with large organizations and a proven ability to provide coaching and training at the executive level. You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.
*The Skills You Bring *
Understanding of, and experience with, Agile and servant leadership concepts and applications
Experience developing and deploying change management, learning and development, and coaching strategies within a large and complex global organization
Experience with assessment and coaching frameworks (e.g., Leadership Circle Profile, Cultural Values Assessment)
Superior communication skills in a range of settings (e.g. large workshops or public forums, senior level meetings, one-on-ones)
Ability to coach and mentor senior executives
Proven ability to influence senior management
The Value You Deliver
Scoping and defining change management and leadership development work with senior leaders from Fidelity’s business units
Developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key clients
Leading the delivery of transformation projects
Interacting with Fidelity associates at senior levels (e.g. EVPs and SVPs) and helping to build consensus with key stakeholders
Developing client and stakeholder communication and management strategies
Developing and delivering thought leadership and training on change management and leadership development across Fidelity and within our team
Creating a positive work environment that reflects Fidelity’s values of integrity, excellence, and teamwork
Leading initiatives to strengthen FC and propel the organization toward its goals, particularly as it relates to the upskilling of the workforce on the Agile model
Providing coaching, mentoring, and career guidance on a formal and informal basis
Managing the professional development of direct reports - typically four to six staff (Directors, Management Consultants or Consulting Analysts)
