Description

Senior Manager of Accounting for a renewable energy company. Exciting company in a fast growing industry. This company is located in Boston and requires 1 day per week in office. They offer competitive pay, work/life balance and excellent benefits. This company receives funding from the government so do need federal funding experience in addition to government accounting standards.

Requirements:

• Oversee operational accounting which includes oversight of 3 accountants

• Handle financial reporting and prepare financials

• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations and month end close process

• Compliance as it pertains to government accounting standards

• Assist with annual audit

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Current or previous experience in public accounting

• Experience with government accounting standards and federal funding

• Experience managing staff
