The Digital Engineering team at Pegasystems creates, maintains, and continuously improves the web applications that help people learn, sell, and buy Pega applications. The digital ecosystem we work on spans internal and external audiences across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.

Picture Yourself at Pega:

We are looking for a Web Application Development Senior Manager to provide thought leadership across Pega's Digital Portfolio. You will build world class engineering teams responsible for the development, governance and oversight of Pega's web experiences.

What You'll Do at Pega:

The Senior Development Manager role will help set the vision for the Digital team and coordinate transformational initiatives between Sales, Marketing, Product, and other departments. This position will be accountable for overall strategy, design, project delivery, and customer success for all related projects.

The Senior Development Manager will drive the design and build of web applications across the portfolio and supporting functions based upon identified business requirements and use cases. He or she will lead multiple teams consisting of technical and business professionals focused on building, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications across business functions. The Senior Development Manager will foster a dynamic team environment following Scrum Methodology.

Who You Are:

The ideal candidate should be an intelligent, motivated, and accomplished senior development manager professional who has a track record of building and leading large and sophisticated enterprise systems.

What You've Accomplished:

• 3+ years of experience managing application development teams

• 12+ years of experience developing high traffic, consumer scale, enterprise web applications

• Ability to communicate complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way

• Ability to partner with management team peers in a collaborative fashion. The candidate will have a track record of creating strong relationships with teammates

• Driven and team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate a team using your intellect, integrity, and creativity

• Experience with technologies and database applications including but not limited to PHP, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, NodeJS and/or Kafka, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, React

• Experience with common development technologies including git, SSH, composer, npm

• Strong object-oriented design and implementation experience

• Understanding of OOAD
