Slack is hiring a Senior Partner Marketing Manager to work with Slack’s ecosystem of strategic technology partners and ISVs. This Sr. Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing strategy, planning and execution with a set of key partners. They will work extensively with cross-functional stakeholders across our company.

Slack’s 750,000+ customers use our product across their organizations to transform how they work by connecting their people, tools, customers and partners in a Digital HQ.

Partners are critical to enhancing our customers’ success, with more than 2,500 partners connecting their technology with Slack. This integration of apps and services with Slack makes it simple for teams to be aligned and get more work done together, allowing users to be focused and productive without having to constantly switch among different applications. Our ecosystem of partners also extends awareness and demand for Slack by showing that our platform is a competitive differentiator.

The ideal candidate has a builder mentality and likes to figure things out, thrives in cross-functional and collaborative organizations, and is driven by the impact that they and their partners create together. This position reports to Slack’s Director of Partner Marketing.

Slack has a positive, diverse, and supportive culture—we look for people who are curious, inventive, and work to be a little better every single day. In our work together we seek to be smart, humble, hardworking and, above all, collaborative. If this sounds like a good fit for you, why not say hello?

What you will be doing:

  • Creating and executing the marketing strategy with multiple partners working across cross-functional teams to reach marketing goals aligned to business objectives and targets

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, partner managers and internal stakeholders to help further the partnership and joint marketing opportunities

  • Collaborating with partners, marketing, business development, finance, product management and sales enablement to guide the execution of partner marketing programs on a global level

  • Establishing, tracking and reporting KPIs and ROI metrics, including regular readouts on the performance of partner marketing programs. Conducting quarterly marketing reviews with key partner executives (internal and partner) to review success/progress, identify gaps and maintain executive alignment and support

  • Creating 6-month and annual marketing plans and incorporating specific geography plans into the overall partner marketing plan for specific partners

  • Driving partner engagement to increase external awareness of Slack’s partner opportunities, and to grow our base of highly successful partners

What You Should Have

  • 5 - 7 yrs experience marketing enterprise software to, with and through technology partners and partner ecosystems

  • Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment to drive outcomes based plans, programs and execution

  • Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and tactics, including field marketing, digital marketing, and industry events

  • Demonstrated revenue impact of partnerships and programs

  • Highly motivated, self-starter that can build and launch programs and communications within budget and effectively manage multiple timelines

  • Ability to operate both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity, bringing creativity and inventive problem solving to your work

  • Excellent communication skills, ranging from the ability to craft brief, high-impact written communications, to presenting to senior executives inside and outside our company

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $128,000. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
