Accenture Senior Product Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

As an Product Manager you are a central player in this narrative and brand promise.

You are:

A professional who develops and implements a product strategy, product roadmap and release plans. You conduct market research to develop a market-wide understanding of buyer/user problems and corresponding requirements. You provide thought leadership and sales support, differentiating our competitive position while ensuring ongoing alignment with the global market, the industry and foundation programs. You work with stakeholders to leverage tech and industry partnerships to provide leading edge software products. You enjoy partnering with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to bring contemporary cloud-based solutions to clients. You have experience in the Retail industry.

The work:

  • Drive market-relevant enhancements into the Intient software offering: identify and prioritize key enhancements which should be considered when deciding the features to be built for each release. Focus will be on functionality, enhancements to the User Experience and leverage of AI/ML models. Output will be Value Propositions related to these key enhancements, along with detailed requirements to be provided to functional leads.

  • Assist Sales Teams in Software Sales Engagements: support Sales Teams as they engage with potential customers in the sale of that software. Primary activity includes reviewing RFPs, providing key insight as to what exists in the software and to what degree it is flexible to meet a requirement. Where functionality is not available, assist in responses that provide some indication as to when such functionality might become available.

  • Manage Requirements backlog and help document epics & user stories, and other requirements with ongoing management of their relative prioritized ranking in the backlog.

  • Assist with Acceptance testing of features where applicable.

  • Deep-Dives with Clients/User Personas regarding our software solution and the top functionality topics that are being considered over the next 3+ releases.

  • Work with internal and external ecosystem players including Cloud providers, and internal Accenture experts in Cloud, Analytics and Life Sciences, to ensure solution meets the needs of the market and differentiates Accenture.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here’s what you need:

  • At least 5 years of working in the Life Sciences Industry

  • At least 2 years of working experience in Product Management role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years) work experience

Bonus points if:

  • A desire to be a continuous innovator

  • You are certified in the Pragmatic Marketing Framework

  • You have experience working in a Consulting or Services company

  • You have working experience on BI and Analytics systems

  • You have certifications on one or more of the major Cloud providers
