KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Representative, Conference Services to join our Office Services organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all catering orders from beginning to end including ordering, inspecting catering set-ups for completeness, and monitoring set-ups

  • Responsible for room set-ups/teardowns, cleaning of meeting rooms and other duties as assigned

  • Provide back-up for the concierge desk (includes monitoring the Conference Center mailbox, answering calls and making reservations); maintain Audio-Visual equipment and catering services inventory

  • Assist with Office Services projects, as needed during downtime

  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines and maintain professionalism under pressure

  • Maintains physical appearance of the conference center and catering kitchen

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of recent experience in the hospitality industry with at least two years of catering experience preferred, AV technology experience a plus

  • High School diploma or equivalent; completed coursework from an accredited college/university is preferred

  • Experience with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel; familiarity with reservations systems/conference center management a plus

  • Ability to lift up to forty pounds unassisted, perform physical labor associated with moving tables, chairs, and podiums for room set-ups and teardowns as well as long periods of standing, walking, bending and stretching

  • Must be extremely punctual able to meet strict deadlines and maintain professionalism under pressure

  • Regular work hours 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri); occasional availability for extended hours with notice
