Bain’s Global Mobility department ensures we can actively move talent around the world to serve our clients and pursue talent worldwide, while providing care to our employees, maintaining compliance and protecting the reputation of Bain and our clients.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM:
The Senior Specialist, Global Mobility will provide guidance to our transferring employees, Staffing, HR and Recruiting to ensure our mobile population can move around the globe. They will serve as the point of contact for moves inbound to a specified region(s) and have accountability for management of related mobility programs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Partner with Vice President, Global Mobility and Senior Manager, Global Mobility to develop and improve programs, policies and administration of the mobility process to meet Bain’s business needs
Provide Mobility-related expertise to local office Staffing, HR Partners and HR team members to facilitate their use of mobility polices and procedures
Act as an advisor to local office mobility contacts and HR to develop a high level of customer service and a support model for transferees inbound to their office
Train local office staff on Global Mobility polices and procedures
Capture and circulate best practices for the mobility life cycle
Manage our global transfer matching Experience Share program
Coordinate with global and local HR and Finance to determine individual transferee packages and document in the mobility agreement
Maintain and improve the process for tracking transfers and producing metrics for key stakeholders
Possess a general knowledge of understanding of mobility practices, tax, compensation and payroll issues and proactively explain implications to internal clients
Bain is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise. Successful candidates must have:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years experience with Bain in Talent Management; or minimum of 5 years mobility related experience (professional services environment preferred)
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication including tact and diplomacy
Passion about working with and learning from individuals from various countries/cultures
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required
Proven analytical comfort and ability
Proven ability to work productively both independently and as an integral member of various teams
Ability to perform multiple complex tasks
Strong customer service focus
Ability and willingness to attend calls to accommodate different time zones
