Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team in Boston, MA. This individual will partner with key stakeholders to identify top talent for our rapidly growing e-commerce business. This role acts as a full-cycle recruiter who understands how to source quickly and creatively, while always keeping the candidate experience top of mind. Senior Technical Recruiters are responsible for owning stakeholder relationships and strategically partnering with the business to drive hiring needs. What You\u0026#39;ll Do:

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting identifying, sourcing and engaging candidates through creative and innovative tactics

  • Effectively pre-screen/interview candidates to determine skills and fit in relation to role requirements while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the full recruitment process

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent; ensuring goals are met

  • Establish effective communication flow with key stakeholders regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates through meetings, email updates, and reports

  • Develop pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies

  • Track goals, metrics and performance of all recruiting efforts; regularly communicate candidate status and recruitment results

  • Be able to provide market research as a subject matter expert in guiding the recruitment process- adding value to key stakeholders

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

  • Take initiative in mentoring less experienced recruiters on the team

  • Find ways to continue to raise the bar for Chewy talent acquisition efforts- outside the scope of metrics and goals (process improvements, new initiatives, creative projects, etc.)

What You\u0026#39;ll Need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant recruiting experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of technology focused recruiting experience

  • Successful track record of directly sourcing passive candidates

  • Strong knowledge of, and experience with, outside recruiting resources including social recruiting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships

  • Experience successfully partnering with key stakeholders/hiring managers in order to drive effective recruitment

  • Strong sense of urgency and flexibility, with an ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Savvy with the latest technology and recruitment tools

  • Position may require travel
