About the SEO & Content Specialist
The qualified candidate will be tasked with becoming the ?trusted advisor? with our clients and thus expected to have a deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of digital marketing. In this role, you will communicate the vision and benefits of various digital marketing categories including SEO, web analytics, and content strategy. You are comfortable and capable of both planning digital marketing programs and executing them, as well as utilizing a variety of marketing technology tools to support and analyze those efforts. SEO & Content Specialists will also support Verndale?s content offerings. You will be tasked with making sure content is well-optimized for search engines, while also being clear and helpful to users.
Serve as the 'trusted advisor' for our clients by guiding them through the marketing platform planning and execution process
Evolve Verndale's standard digital marketing processes and toolsets
Work with engineering teams to implement digital marketing platforms and customizations according to client needs.
Devise, execute, and track the success of digital marketing campaigns on behalf of clients.
Provide on-going best practices advice and recommendations for the client
Develop web-related content for clients including web pages, meta data, and ad hoc requests (paid search ads, emails, etc.)
Support content strategy and content as a service offerings
Analyze performance of content through Google Analytics, keyword ranking tools, and content intelligence tools
Work cross-functionally to support activities for experimentation, personalization, and more
Support thought leadership in a larger capacity
1-3 years of experience
Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization optimization
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Experience with tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
Experience writing and editing for digital-first audiences
University / college degree required
Experience in agency, marketing, or AdTech environments is a plus
