Wayfair Social Scientist, People Analytics in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re seeking a social scientist to join our Employee Research workstream to help us illustrate a narrative with qualitative and quantitative data. In this role, you’ll help build and execute on the research roadmap necessary to drive our stakeholders to take action on talent data.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build key stakeholder relationships - create awareness around the “possibilities” of what people analytics research can help our partners measure and achieve</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner closely with stakeholder teams on analytics to support major policy and programmatic decisions (e.g., future of remote work, performance review processes, DEI programs)</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work to scale existing reporting methodologies (focus groups, survey development), minimizing analytical lift to maximize interaction with stakeholders and action planning</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Evaluate current employee listening strategy and create a roadmap for future enhancements</span></li>


<p><strong>What You'll Need:&nbsp;</strong></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelors, masters, or advanced degree in a quantitative or qualitative field (I/O psychology, organizational design, statistics)</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">4+ years of work experience, with a track record of delivering tangible results in a data-driven role</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency with at least one structured programming language (e.g., SQL, Python, R), experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Data Studio, Tableau, Looker) a plus</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong communication skills, with the ability to build narratives using data</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The integrity, maturity, and respect to handle sensitive employee data </span></li>
