The Oracle Health Patient Accounting Team is responsible for delivering the next generation healthcare financial management application for healthcare providers. We are seeking to transform healthcare by providing technology solutions that fully automate insurance and patient billing while providing a first-class experience for end users. We are at the forefront, developing a next-generation platform that integrates generative AI technologies, OCI’s cloud-native AI/ML capabilities, and robust data infrastructure. You will lead a talented group of engineers and help drive the team's vision of transforming healthcare through innovation and technology.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.

• Work with product teams and users of the platform to identify new functionality and enhancements

• Work with product and upstream partner teams to coordinate long-term planning and prioritization

• Monitor and manage engineering deliverables

• Recruit/build an impactful, innovative and energetic team

• Foster team collaboration and communication, both within the team and with other teams

Requirements:

• Must have experience delivering & executing software services into cloud platforms

• Must have hands-on cloud native architectural experience

• Must have experience growing development teams

• Must have experience modernizing & containerizing multi-tenant solutions

• Seeking experience using AI & Automation to remove manual toil

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
