AWS is seeking innovative, passionate, results-oriented leader to own software systems, products, and tools to build an exciting new global AI-driven products. This is a confidential strategic initiative for AWS.

We are looking for an individual that thrives by creating high-bar engineering cultures, giving customers business intelligence that is timely, accurate, and actionable, and using the intersection of software and data to give their customers “superpowers.”

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Experience with AWS technologies like Appsync, DynamoDB, Lambda, EventBridge, Amazon OpenSearch, CloudWatch and others

  • Experience with Event based architecture, search and analyze unstructured and semi-structured data, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD

  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment

  • Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
