Your Opportunity

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work with experienced developers in an Agile team to design, build, test, and deploy Java-based microservices that power EBSCO products and services. Your contributions will help create information tools that advance research, transform education, and impact learning worldwide. Through 2-week iterations within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Program Increment, you’ll gain hands-on experience, enhance technical skills, and tackle real-world challenges while making a meaningful difference.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, implement, test, and deliver Java-based microservices to support premium EBSCO products as part of agile team

  • Collaborate with your team to define work products such as user stories and features

  • Learn about and get to use the state of the art of in-house CI/CD pipeline for continuous delivery of the code

  • Work with experienced team members to perform the technical design, implementation, and testing of features and commit to stories to be accomplished in an iteration

  • Learn from other engineers on the team in their areas of specific expertise

About You

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (bachelors or masters) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Computer Engineering or other Technical related degree or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#)

  • Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills

Pay Range

USD $22.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
