Job Summary

Join Restaurant Associates as a Sous Chef in one of Boston's top dining establishments. Contribute to a world-class culinary team, showcasing your skills in a high-volume, fine dining environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to determine menus and ensure flawless execution of dishes.

• Coordinate all kitchen activities, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards.

• Lead and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.

• Maintain world-class quality in all dishes served, ensuring consistency and excellence.

• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

• Successfully implement catering and special event menus, showcasing creativity and precision.

  Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining, high-volume restaurant.

• Outstanding culinary skills with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.

• Strong leadership abilities with the capability to encourage and manage a diverse team.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Experience working in a unionized setting is a plus.
