WM Specialist, Employee Screening & Compliance in Boston, Massachusetts

I. Job Summary
Primary responsibility is to support Field Operations in ensuring compliance to Customer credentialing requirements. Review and verify that all Customer required background checks, drug and alcohol testing is completed based on specific requirements as contractually agreed upon. Performs duties in a professional manner, interacting with all levels of WM Employees in Field Operations while maintaining highest level of confidentiality. Ensure compliance to FCRA and other State and Local Regulatory requirements.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review background screening and drug testing reports in accordance with Customer specified requirements.
Work with various stakeholders in understanding and establishing the appropriate screening components as required by Customers.
Work with Field Operations to ensure timely completion by WM employees of all data and consents required.
Engage with the background screening vendor to ensure all SLAs are met. Keep issue logs to track all process defects and ensure process integrity.
Maintain appropriate controls and approval workflows to manage background screening and drug testing data.
Use WM case management tools to properly track and plan work.
Ensure escalation of sensitive issues to the Senior Manager proactively
Pivot to provide support to other areas of the Employment Screening Programs as directed by management.

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must live and work in the US.
A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar area of study, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Three (3) years of relevant experience in role where management of employee data / reports for multiple items has been a key function (in addition to education requirement) required. Three (3) years in the areas of hiring and using vendor systems, DOT preferred.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
Required: Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred: Oracle ORC or Oracle HCM
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $59,800 - $85,905. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
