Sr Consultant - Jira / Confluence

job summary:

Randstad Technologies is seeking a senior level Consultant with experience implementing Jira and Confluence for maintenance and enhancement management via Kanban across the enterprise. You will be a key member of a team to assess the current processes across multiple teams; recommend, define and configure the Jira implementation and associated processes and governance; and support the deployment of multiple pilot projects.

responsibilities:

Participate in discovery sessions to uncover current processes and tools with an eye toward future implementation in Jira / Confluence

Recommend, define, and document standards for Jira components, including projects, cards, statuses, metrics, reports and dashboard

Contribute to the definition of standard Kanban processes and governance

Contribute to the creation and management of a prioritized project backlog to manage the engagement work

Implement and verify agreed upon standards in Jira and Confluence using out of the box functionality

Contribute to documentation and training materials and delivery

Participate in the development and documentation of supporting engagement plans, including training plan, communications plan and deployment plan

Support the delivery and deployment to pilot teams, including the evaluation and dispensation of pilot feedback

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience configuring Jira to meet the needs of cross enterprise project teams, specifically using the Kanban framework

Prior experience implementing Kanban for maintenance and enhancement workflows

strong understanding of Jira capabilities and limitations, specifically with regard to Kanban workflows, metrics and dashboards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with consultative mindset

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
