I have partnered with a rapidly growing biotech company, seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. With a focus on budgeting, forecasting, managing clinical trial accruals, and R& D finance month-end closures, the ideal candidate will play an integral role in our financial operations. As we prepare for our impending IPO, the Senior Financial Analyst will contribute valuable knowledge and skills that will help drive our company forward. They are on a hybrid office schedule and this role compensates from 110 - 130K + bonus + equity. Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute and manage financial budgets and forecasts specific to the biotech industry

• Oversee and manage financial activities pertaining to clinical trial accruals

• Lead the month-end closure process for R& D finance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure financial objectives align with company goals

• Generate and analyze financial reports to forecast future budget needs

• Participate in strategic decision-making processes, lending financial expertise

• Assist in managing financial preparation for our impending IPO

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• 3-5+ years' experience in a financial analyst role, ideally within the biotech industry

• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing clinical trial accruals

• Knowledge of R& D finance activities, notably month-end closures

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills

• Solid understanding of financial reporting and corporate finance concepts
