Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support Forecasting and Budgeting by leading system setup, testing and training of Budget and Forecast templates, uploads and reporting

• Support Close Activities needed in Prophix Financial Reporting including FTE Reconciliation, Benefit and Allocation processes and validating source data between Prophix and General Ledger system

• Maintain system for updates relating to Security access and changes relating to organizational structure and the General Ledger

• Provide monthly, quarterly and annually reporting with variance analysis at individual and aggregate level for organization to support reporting requirements to senior leadership

• Provide business partnership with department heads throughout the year on expenses and headcount approvals

• Ad hoc reporting to support management requests

• Training of new users on Prophix system and overview oif Budget and Forecast process

• Identify opportunities to improve and simplify reporting as well as maninting accuracy of financial reports

• Draw on relationship and technical skills to act as technical liaison to internal and external clients and to mentor junior staff

• Troubleshoot and resolve application related problems by phone and in person; provide day-to-day support handling simple to complex user problems/requests regarding software and reporting

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders

Required Experience (must have):

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial operations

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with GL and budgeting systems

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (must have):

• Strong knowledge of accounting required combined with exceptional analytical ability and financial modeling experience

• Knowledge of Prophix or similar general ledger accounting systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment, with keen attention to detail

• Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities, set priorities, take initiative and meet deadlines

• Must have excellent computer skills including in-depth understanding of databases and spreadsheet formulas and macros

• Report specification writing experience is helpful.
