Job Summary

This role on our Human Resources (HR) Support Center is responsible for supporting current employees, contingent labor, retirees, and potential employees through the employment life cycle. Members of this team approach their day-to-day with a customer service mindset and act as the first points of contact regarding HR inquiries across a variety of business lines and global geographical regions. This role will utilize HCM tools and vendor platforms to perform program administration including, but not limited to, employee benefit enrollment administration, leave of absence tracking, the processing of employment verifications, pre-employment screening reviews, I-9 administration and other functions as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports our current, past and future labor force as it relates to HR services, company processes, policies, and benefits utilizing our case management and telephony tools.

  • Serve as a front-line agent for all HR inquiries, providing appropriate routing to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) where needed.

  • Processes compliance reviews for proper adherence to federal and internal guidelines related to I-9s, background checks, and personnel files.

  • Execution of project plans related to record maintenance, reporting, and other HR administrative needs.

  • Leverages process documentation while performing ongoing updates to standard operating procedures.

  • Commits to data security and maintaining and protecting employee information including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI)

  • Updates employee records in PeopleSoft HCM tool.

  • Escalates system usage issues to HR Systems team and partners to determine solution.

  • Cross-trains co-workers on shared duties.

  • Interacts with internal clients by phone, email, in-person.

Management Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent training preferred

  • Knowledge of onboarding processes, I-9 maintenance, and E-Verify.

  • Understanding of company provided benefits plans, policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Problem solving and analytical skills (Identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)

  • Previous experience/training on HR Systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products; including Excel for reporting and analysis

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively. Writes and communicates clearly and concisely

  • Ability to demonstrate sound documentation skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Superior Customer service skills

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
