A Day in The Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

This position is based in Boston MA, or North Haven, CT. As a Sr. Software Verification Engineer, you will use your broad understanding of software verification techniques for medical or other regulated systems. You will utilize your proficiency in C++, real time operating systems, and electro-mechanical devices to develop novel tests to verify designed functions and enforce safety of the surgical robotics.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Advance Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Electrical, Electronics / equivalent from reputed institution.

  • 4 years’ experience in Embedded Software verification & Validation with at least two (2) years’ experience in the Medical device/Medical IT or regulated industry.

  • Knowledge and hands on working experience with in C++ software and Embedded systems.

  • Experience with Medical Product verification and FDA guidance.

  • Thorough understanding of creating test protocols for verifying software requirements.

  • Ability to create test automation infrastructure, and plan for automated regression testing.

  • Experience testing complex medical devices controlled by software.

  • Experience in developing automation tests scripts

  • Ability to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs.

  • Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations.

  • Ability to work with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineers when discovering, documenting, and resolving integration issues.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
