Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Income Tax Analyst who will be responsible for preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns, analyzing tax laws, conducting tax research, and providing tax planning advice. The candidate must have advanced analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns.

• Conduct tax research and provide tax planning advice to manager.

• Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Provide support for special projects, system enhancements, and create process efficiencies.

• Communicate with internal customers to provide tax advice and respond to inquiries.

• Collaborate closely with other members of the tax team to provide exceptional service.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications

Do You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• Experience in income tax preparation and planning

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax laws and regulations

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Advanced spreadsheet skills

• CPA or other relevant professional certification is preferred.

The starting compensation range for this job is $65,500 to $81,700.
