Amazon Sr. UX Designer, AGI Data Services in Boston, Massachusetts

Come build the future of Artificial Intelligence with us! AGI Data Services is looking for a seasoned UX designer who is interested in exploring the world of AI. In this role, you will actively collaborate with various stakeholders from product and tech partners to internal customers to create delightful experiences. You will invent and deliver throughout the product development cycle to build scalable design solutions. In this high-impact position, you must be able to lead projects and succeed in an ambiguous environment. AGI Data Services is a part of Amazon’s Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) organization. We provide data creation and analytics services to help develop and train Amazon’s AI models.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process from project definition to delivery.

  • Design the information architecture, interaction flow, and user interface of various tools.

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to bring the interaction to life.

  • Develop and maintain high standard for design patterns.

  • Be a passionate and effective advocate for design.

A day in the life

You will work on exciting zero-to-one net new user experiences, as well as optimizing experiences used by thousands of people. You will meet with customers to understand their needs, design creative solutions, work closely with product and engineering to launch new functionalities, and serve as a 'bar-raiser' for the organization on best practices for design.

About the team

AGI-DS Customer support team closely works with scientists and engineers to make data collection as easy as possible. You will join a team of a product and program managers to deliver exceptional experiences across various products. We work cross-functionally to create scalable and solutions to our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of design experience

  • Have an available online portfolio

  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax

  • Experience with UX design of complex workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
