Social Justice Services serves men and women transitioning out of prison and back into the community through a network of six residential reentry centers operated under contracts with federal, state, and county agencies. The division also runs a residential program for young adults with complex clinical needs.
Community Strategies supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities to live as independently as possible through a range of community-based residential options offering structure in a caring, home-like environment, as well as day programs.
The Crime and Justice Institute is a national-scale consulting practice that works with elected officials, justice system practitioners, policy makers, and thought leaders to effect significant reforms to promote safety and justice.
The AP Staff Accountant performs a variety of AP tasks under the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager
AP Staff Accountant Functional Responsibilities:
Function as an effective team member of the fiscal staff.
Respect the confidential nature of information accessed in the performance of the position.
Review, code and enter invoices into the accounts payable system.
Match invoices to checks and stuff and mail checks.
Generate check runs and electronic funds transfers in the absence of the Accounts Payable Manager.
Manage and run all of accounts payable when the Accounts Payable Manager is on vacation or working on large projects.
Prepare various ad hoc financial reports, analyses and functions as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager, Director of Fiscal Operations, or CFO.
Maintain W-9 database and assist with 1099 process at calendar year end.
Assist on larger accounts payable implementation projects when needed.

Experience of automated accounting software systems. Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience preferred.
Degree in accounting or 2 plus years related working experience in lieu of degree.
