The VMware End User Computing runs the world’s largest Digital Workspace Platform - Workspace ONE. Our goal is to transform the way customers interact with the digital workspace by providing a platform for data aggregation, reporting, data visualization, analytics , machine learning, and custom workflows.
The VMware EUC BU Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to define and orchestrate process within EUC to enable our teams both internal and external to R&D to delight our customers. This team’s charter is to bring a customer focus in our Engineering decisions.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Assist field/customer teams in tracking projects across multiple customers, assessing risk and prioritizing resolutions across product teams in R&D
Manage communications with cross-functional department stakeholders on customer-facing programs
Advocate for the SaaS-first mindset in how we deliver to our customers
Identify and drive improvements with VMware processes that affect our customers
Lead programs involving internal stakeholders (Sales, GSS, CS, PSO, and R&D) for the betterment of how we do what we do.
Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership
5+ years of experience with program management and/or project management
Proven experience planning complex projects
Ability to communicate across disparate groups and leadership across the organization
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and POC’s to R&D teams and leadership
Customer facing experience and presentation skills with everyone from executives to end users
Experienced in Agile & SCRUM methodologies
Experience using JIRA (project and issue tracking software) or other similar products
Experience leading cross-functional teams with aggressive timelines and dynamic process flows
