Office of Specialized Services
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations and in collaboration with different OSS units the Purchasing and Stipend Specialist will:
Issue purchasing requisitions using the BPS Financial Purchasing System and seeing them through to full purchase orders.
Document deliveries of supplies, receive purchase orders and process invoices.
Initiate stipend approvals in the BPS HRM Stipend System and see them through to approval.
Process stipend payments through the BPS HRM Stipend System and see them through to payment.
Communicate immediately with supervisor and OSS unit if there are problems or processing delays with requisitions, purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, stipends or stipend payments.
Qualifications:
Understanding and experience working with BPS Financial Purchasing System (able to process purchasing requisitions)
Preferred: Experience working in HRM Stipend System
Terms:
Union status will determine payment terms
Ability to work 4-8 hours per week
Remote work is available for this position
All work for this position must be completed outside the employee’s regular work hours.
