About the Role
The Student Records Functional Lead will oversee key functions within student records, focusing on team management, process improvement, and systems configuration and updates to support university objectives. This role involves directing a team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring efficient completion of cyclical processes.
Supervise two functional analysts, handling task prioritization, performance reviews, and training.
Work with stakeholders to document and enhance business processes, leading workshops and maintaining comprehensive documentation for service delivery.
Support Campus Solutions and HighPoint upgrades through validation testing, including integration updates and process adjustments.
Partner with service owners to ensure timely completion of cyclical student records processes, providing insights on scope and priorities.
Act as an advisor on admissions-related projects and collaborate on Integration, Reporting, Change Management, and Data Governance initiatives.

Boston University Enrollment Services Operations is part of the Enrollment & Student Administration unit (ENSA). BU Enrollment Service Operations plays a critical role in ENSA’s mission; enrolling and retaining students, by supporting and designing operational and technical infrastructure to support the student user experience.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years of direct experience with 2+ years of management experience
Experience with admissions or student records systems, ideally within a higher education environment.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, document processes, and drive business process improvements.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Campus Solutions or similar student information systems is strongly preferred.
