Turner Construction Company Summer 2019 Intern - Boston Business Unit in Boston, Massachusetts

The Intern will be assigned to the field operations team, Special Projects Division (SPD) or other Business Unit departments and will assist in obtaining, evaluating and coordinating all information needed to construct the project in accordance with the contract documents to assure that the work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality possible. Involved in engineering and administration of projects. The Co-Op shall be responsible for the protection and promotion of the interest of Turner and all matters. Reports To: Project Engineer, Engineer, Project Superintendent or Superintendents

Physical Demands: Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Intern must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
