Akelius is seeking an energetic and self-motivated supply chain analyst to join the global procurement team. The supply chain analyst will be a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills,that is able to develop relationships with potential suppliers and vendors.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible driving the procurement task together with local operations,and partnering with procurement team to support regional optimizations.

Additionally, the supply chain analyst will be looked upon to provide solutions for product and service that are both reliable and effective.

  • promote Akelius and company values in the market

  • communicate internal and external procurement and supplier updates to local operations

  • identify suppliers and develop programs

  • manage supplier relationships and performance

  • act as point of escalation for supplier issues / troubleshoot and support to resolve supplier problems

  • recommend cost savings solutions

  • implement process improvements and increase operational efficiencies

  • negotiate contract terms that are competitive in the industry and meet the company’s needs

  • coordinate with Akelius North American city teams as well as global teams

  • understand products and services proposed by the architecture team and source applicable products that meet design specifications

  • provide progress and expected product availabilities to the construction team

  • communicate key metrics, strategy, and goals to senior management

  • develop procedures for collecting, and reporting key metrics that will help evaluate existing agreements and improve overall performance

  • continuously monitor purchase volumes, product types, and service to make sure the product performance, service and price point is meeting demands

  • review existing contracts in North America and products and suggest improvements

  • provide purchasing support for North America

  • primary purchasing contact for all local and regional related purchasing questions and key accounts

  • understanding and collecting regional requirements

  • support and lead local and regional negotiations

  • update Akelius Construction Module and Akelius Component Catalogue

  • other tasks as needed

    who you are

  • bachelor’s in business, preferably with a procurement or supply chain management focus

  • five plus years’ of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain management

  • purchasing experience

  • proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • vast knowledge of the market for construction services and materials, interior finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and maintenance repair and operations
