What You Will Do :
The Supply Chain Researcher and Analyst will support the integrity and resilience of Department of Defense (DoD) supply chain processes, procedures and programs. He/She will be responsible for ingesting data from a multitude of classified and unclassified sources and researching and documenting technical and non-technical vulnerabilities and mitigations of material, products, manufacturers, vendors, resellers, transportation, and service providers. He/She will be expected to think critically about overarching risk and make business process improvement recommendations. The ideal candidate will have experience producing analytical products related to business, finance, intelligence, logistics, information and communications (ICT) systems, and/or cybersecurity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support manual or automated ingestion of acquisition data related to material, products, manufacturers, vendors, resellers, transportation, and service providers
Merge and competently manipulate data sets and sources in both classified and unclassified environments to support supply chain analyses
Evaluate, analyze, and identify threats, vulnerabilities, hazards, probable consequences, and overarching risk of DoD supply chain
Identify issues, trends, and emerging risk that may adversely impact supply chain resilience
Apply analytical decision-making processes to propose changes in supply chain applications, policies, procedures, and business processes
Document analytical findings and recommendations in clear and concise manner consistent with client documentation practices and standards of procedure
Work with functional and technical stakeholders to identify, define and document opportunities for process improvement in requirements development, supply chain operations, and business systems
What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree
FIVE (5) years' of intelligence research, intelligence analysis, business research, business analysis, finance analysis, cybersecurity, or counterintelligence experience
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
What Would Be Nice to Have :
THREE (3) years’ experience with supply chain and logistics operations.
Experience and knowledge of process analysis, mapping, and optimization; including optimization techniques such as Lean Six Sigma
Experience in performing data analytics, particularly in areas that optimize supply chains
Experience analyzing large and complex data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
Experience with using analytical tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau) and various techniques associated with data ingestion, data conditioning, identifying data anomalies and data aggregation
Familiarity with DoD structure, function, and operations
The annual salary range for this position is $86,100.00-$172,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
